Cooking couscous in a pan is very similar to cooking rice or quinoa. You should use an equal amount of liquid and grains. First boil water with a little salt (or chicken broth) in a large saucepan, then stir in the couscous. Cook until the water is all absorbed, about 2 to 3 minutes, then separate each grain by scraping with a fork.
